Gannon’s Gives Back to Pacific Whale Foundation

January 18th, 2012

Gannon’s and Pacific Whale Foundation have established a partnership to help Hawaii’s environment through a charitable program called “GANNON’S GIVES BACK”.

Gannon’s is donating $5.00 to Pacific Whale Foundation for every person that turns in an eco-adventure cruise ticket while dining at the restaurant during lunch or dinner.

Donations are used to help Pacific Whale Foundation fund its scientific, educational and advocacy programs designed to protect our oceans. Pacific Whale Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 1980 to save whales from extinction. A pioneer in non-invasive whale research, Pacific Whale Foundation was also an early leader in educating the public, from a scientific perspective, about whales and the need for ocean conservation. They are an international organization, with ongoing research studies in Hawaii, Australia, and Ecuador, and are active participants in global efforts to address threats to whales and other marine life.

Gannon’s is thrilled to be involved with this organization and proactive in our fight to protect Hawaii’s natural resources.
